Client Letters:
Soo Choy Jo Mckeown- Amputees
"We first went to Heather in Spring 2005, very unfit and very unstable having both lost legs in a road traffic accident in 2001. We had both suffered serious multiple injuries, mainly fractures to most of our lower limbs. Rehabilitation had been very slow and our phsiotherapist had suggested that Pilates might help us on the way, pasrticularly as core strength is so important for walking. So we were certainly a challenge for Heather.
Heather has worked regularly with us since our first visit on a two to one basis. She has adapted her programme to suit our specific needs and is always willing to challenge us with as we are able to do. She has shown us how Pilates can be a huge help to us all. With her patience, enthusiasm and determination, even people like us with limited physical ability are able to benefit from this type of exercise.
Heather has been an inspiration to us both; we have never stuck at any physical activity for so long and had such a laugh along the way. Our general fitness, suppleness and strength have improved enormously. Thanks Heather. |
